Pressure washing and soft washing in Philadelphia and surrounding areas
What is the difference between pressure washing and soft washing?
Using high pressure water to remove algae, moss, lichen, dirt, etc. from a surface. Also known as power washing.
Pressure washing is used to clean porous surfaces like wood, concrete, brick, pavers, etc. when soft washing isn’t enough. Roofs and vinyl siding should be soft washed, not pressure washed.
Using low pressure and a chemical solution to remove algae, moss, mold, mildew, lichen, etc. from a surface.
Soft washing is used to clean roofs and houses. It is a gentler and more effective way to clean these surfaces than pressure washing.
